Gonna try for Garrick at pipeline.
Ifafa. Lots of shad. Too big for live bait. Biting quite deep.
Some nice shads coming out ts morning at Margate Pier

Being fishing this morning in Happy wonderes. No Shad, only silver brim and rock fish on the bite. Moved to Pennington and was quiet. Then moved to scottburgh. Only small rock fish. Scottburgh point shad was on the bite.
Happy Wanderers, anyone caught anything else than shad during the day there? Flatties or any other non eds?
So while most of you will be chasing your Target Species this weekend, I will be enjoying mine. My Target: Teaching needy, homeless children how to fish. Bringing Joy to their lives and giving them something to smile about.

I heard Sards being netted at ansteys dead end, with plenty of activity birds n game fish.
Shad on the bite along with lovely specimen kob.
Was planning to go fishing there this afternoon after work.
Eish. Then I expect lots of shad there tomorrow morning. With plenty action.
Someone just sent me a picture of a 43 CM shad landed there at 3.00PM .Will upload it ASAP

Great Catch by Dean Reddy and his buddy Lynton. "Managed to get my PB snoek of 95cm off the shore . Lynton got a slab of 99cm. Tackle Daiwa Vadel 4000 21lb tripple fish Cobra braid and the Daiwa Exceller 11ft6 spin. My 2nd setup was the 10ft6 exceller and the exceller 4000HA. Those setups for spinning are nothing short of brilliant for those long casts to get to the snoek. Cracking session, arms are sore, time for supper and good rest."
