I know there a cold front hitting Cape Town tomorrow not sure how that going to effect Durban and our South Coast. I am headed to Tinley Manor for the weekend and will take rods but keeping an eye on the sea and the swell.

I'm working this weekend..saving myself for CB

Fished tugela on Saturday. It was quiet apart from a few undersized grunter. I fished Richards bay on Saturday. Lots of undersized shad. My friends managed to get 2 sharks. I didn't use cable traces. Sharks were taking my bait and hooks.

Hi guys. I went spinning on Saturday morning from 6am to 8am from Virginia to Beachwood and back. Nothing at all even the guys with bait was complaining. How was the rest of the coast?

I did a 2 hour Spin session in the Harbour on Saturday morning, with no success. But I know the guys got some Grunter on Sunday on the boats in the Bay.

Fished hibberdene area on Friday and Saturday. swells not good for the spot we fished. Had to scratch in the rocks. Few small blacktail and one very small lost shad.

It was a slow weekend indeed, water looking much better already.

I will be fishing coffee bay from thursday

Fished a couple hours at Beachwood on Sunday evening, then an hour and a half at Glen Ashley. Only peckers around. A decent sized crab got himself tangled in my trace line.

Had a top day out with my son. Started at 6am went to Toti, Winkels and finally Umkomaas. Lighty banged the fish at Umkomaas with his first throw he had a double up of Shad and Pamphlet. I threw out a live Karanteen but no pickups. Great day out.

As for my weekend fishing, was the same as the last weekend. Blanked out again. Went to the same place at the same time(as last week) and still no hook ups. Lets hope the coming weekend will yield better results. Need to prove to the wife, I Can Still catch Fish.
