Hi Guys,

Can anyone advise where is 'Lucky Dip'?
I remember going there years ago as a kid, but I thought it was gone after the upgrades in the harbor.
Is it only accessible via boat?

Thanks,
Faizal

@Previn, why not try Splash Rock if the weather permits. You have a better chance of landing something decent there. IMO Lucky Dip only when Splash Rock cannot be fished. The more experienced guys here can correct me if I'm wrong. If you want to fish Lucky Dip, cast slightly towards the left. Anywhere to the right and the rocks are waiting to claim your traces.

Faizal, yes as mentioned by a few of our members the "Lucky Dip" that you are talking about is what used to be at and around the old "ferry jetty" that we used to use to take the ferry across to the "West". Was around and before the "Granite Yard / blocks".

Great fishing spot with great memories of years gone by.
