Hi Jared

Seola Point is best fished when the North Easter blows for around 2 days. If the sea is not sanded ideal for garrick, kob and stumpies. The sea does get huge of the point when the west blows and the current screams to the north. Also walk on the beach further south from the point. You will see a single rock sticking out. Top spot for edibles in the winter months. Also very safe. Hope this helps

Took a drive today to Tugela Mouth Resort and the beach nearby (not sure what it's called?!?) Was on my way back from Empangeni, so decided to check out the place.
Looks like a good spot, but the South Easter was picking up. One of the local ballies told me that there's been some big Shad landed there recently, as well as a few Kob. Also a few decent Stumpies came out this morning.

You should go Jared its an awsum spot...even the beach behind the resort is producing lots of big shad and kob in the 3 to 4 kg range.
