Just came from there, lots of nets pulled out, haven't seen so much in years.

I would like to experience the sardine run in all her glory

Please advise how best to get to experience the run

You will need to follow this forum to get latest report on where the boaters (netters) are situated. My bet would be around the Toti ,Umkoomas area. Go to the beach at sunrise, you will see boats in the water scouting for the sards, you will also see vans loaded with crates. Follow these vans as they will be going to pick up sardines. Park safely and far from beach access as the sardine vans and people buying generally block these areas and it can become a nightmare in the sardine commotion. All the luck and hope you see some action.
