Good day gents just want to find out im new to the group and to the spinning scene I recently bought a loomis spinning pro 11" rod and a max reel sigma pro 4000 Im using boss braid 30lb how good is this set up or how can I make it better thanks

Hi Shanton. That's a decent setup, but I would suggest using a lighter Braid. Try 20 pound. That will get you more distance when casting. As well, you need to stock up on a range of Lures. They aren't cheap, but Township Hyper does carry a good range, at reasonable prices.
