Live bait usage
With more anglers targeting game fish and the use/storage of live bait did you consider: Does one need a permit to transport the live bait and does one need a permit to store the live bait or is an angling licence sufficient?
As far as I know you do not need a permit , you may store them but here comes a technical hitch, technically if you are storing the fish you need a quarian licence and that licence only allows you to keep no more than 5 of one species , so I suggest you catch live bait and use it on the day. Now the other argument is you allowed 25 mullet per day ie on your person, not 25 on the beach and 25 at home so therefore under that section of the licence you allowed 25 Mullet so I suppose if they are alive and in a tank on your bakkie going from A to B that should be allowed. I think we can go around and around on this point.
