The lifeboat has been removed. But it's a mystery as to how and why it was there.

Markings from this pic might help.

I emailed the pictures to NSRI , requesting information. I advice once I receive a reply from them.

Any further news regarding this life boat ?

Received a phone call informing me that NSRI has removed the lifeboat. The Ballito division has attended to it. No further information received at this stage.
