If they still have the same farm manager his name is Archy and his cell number was
072 228 1414, haven't fished there for a few years. Security became a problem and they had armed guards on patrol at the river mouth and surrounding areas. Not sure what it's like now ?

They only issue a set number of permits each year, so you may only get one for next year and that is only if all the existing permits aren't all carried over by the same individuals from this year, that's unfortunately how it worked.

Never did much spinning there, the spot where the spinning action always was is called "Deep Green" the rocks just south of the mouth. A mecca for paddle ski's and jet ski's that fish close in for snoek, cuta, kingies. We fished mainly a kilometer and a bit along the beach south of the mouth, a pointed rocky outcrop called the "mailboat" a long walk if you loaded. I believe the permits could be as much as R2k now, ?
Not sure how you get to the north bank now days but that area is also very productive, especially cob this time of the year.
