bass

We just got to the dam and it started raining. it continued for the next hour or so.
We decided to fish in the rain. There was plenty of fingerling talapia around but no sign of any big fish. About 10 am I heard a loud splash in front of me and when I looked to my left I saw my grandson being pulled forward with his rod in his hand. He was into a big bass. I ran over and guided him on how to handle the fish. After a few minutes he landed his largest bass. A quick weigh in and some pics it was released. it weighed 3.9 kg.

Hi Deena.

Could you please provide me with venue details, bait used, etc, if possible

Hi Aarti
it was at Albert Falls Dam in the Natuli area. The bait was a rubber fluke.
use imitations that will imitate the young talapia as there are plenty of them around.
