Catching Shad at Warners

A throwback to a few years back when myself and my son had a blast catching Shad at Warner's. My son had ideas of starting a YouTube channel, but abandoned it, after choosing fishing over being a cameraman. Great day out. Great Father Son Moment.

An impressive catch by a very determined lady Joane Jo Groenewald. After tussling a big Bronzie for about 30mins on a nylon hook trace (targeting a kob or Garrick), the inevitable happened. We quickly changed over to shark traces, and then never had any action for another 5 hours!! Our patience got rewarded though. After a hectic 2 hour battle @jo_joane_ landed this massive Bronze Whaler shark, totally unaided (except for keeping her hydrated and focused) Well done!! GIRL POWER Fish safely released as always.
