Garrick Run Started

Garrick came thick in Karadene Beach again all in the 3Kg to 8 Kg range. Not many fishermen fishing but long walk to the spot.

Harbour Fishing

Hi, Does anyone know if the harbour is open for fishing. I also would like to know where and who can I contact for a fishing trip. I will be in Durban on 13/06/2019 till 17/06/2019. I have never fished in the sea and suffer from motion sickness, that why the harbour. Thank You Mohamed

Durban Harbor Angling Closure

Port of Durban incident - Please be advised that we are suspending all diving operations and fishing in the port due to the sewage flowing into the port. It is approx 720 000 litters per hour that is flowing through. The City has taken the sewage pumps out and these pumps require spares that will b coming from overseas. Our environmental department has been engaging wit the city but the City will only be able to contain this spillage earliest by the 31st May. Furthermore, damages on City infrastructure are making matters worse. Port of Durban has invoked BCP as we need to do water samples. We need to test for dissolved oxygen levels, and do analysis of faecal contamination across the port.

Manta rays on the shore break

Manta rays on the shore break

Fished at Toti last week Sunday. Got a milk shark. What amazed me was the sight of manta rays on the shore break. Managed to take a few pics and a short video. My buddy at Isipingo also witnessed the same thing. External Link: www.google.co.za
