Fishing Pennington

I am once again visiting Pennington over the festive season and really need some ideas as to .. 1. what species to target 2. where to target them. I know by the river, just right of the ski boat club is good for Shad, but I was thinking of going for other edibles, like rockcod, stumpies, Bronze Bream etc.. A place I like fishing was just north of another river at the very north of Pennington, but there is no parking area anymore, just a traffic circle. Any ideas?

Fishing updates on Tacklebag???

Hi guys. Good morning to all. It’s been a long while since I visited this web to check on some fishing updates as I now finally have time to start fishing again. I see there is hardly any recent fishing updates. Given the current sardine run, I was hoping to find a lot of current info on fishing hot spots but unfortunately, couldn’t get much. Is Tacklebag phasing out? I hope not. Have a good day guys.

Sardine Run 2020

So it has officially begun. The Sardine Run 2020 has kicked off officially on the 1st of June with Shoals moving into the Ramsgate and Port Edward Areas. Quite a few nets were taken on Monday the 1st of June. Unfortunately Lockdown has kept all anglers off the beach. Hopefully by Wednesday the 3rd we will be allowed onto the beach to fish again, once the lifting of the ban has been gazetted. Hope you enjoy the run, and we will try to keep you posted on where the sards are on this post thread.

Hi Guys, it's been a long time. Haven't been fishing as much as I would like to. Almost every weekend - weather no good or work :( Just wondering Ronald, is there any way to re-introduce the tech/info section that used to be on KZNF? The knowledge I gained from there, as a beginner, was priceless. Also, the fishing stories. I used to spend every opportunity I could get on the Forum.
